It is well known that webcams we use with computers are usually intended for staying in touch with family and friends—especially when we’re far away and want to see them and check in. However, these cameras can serve a completely different function: monitoring your home, street, or any location you want to secure, all from your personal computer.

By using Security Monitor Pro, you can turn a regular webcam into a powerful surveillance tool. The software allows you to view everything the camera captures in one place and comes packed with advanced features—such as triggering an audible alarm when someone enters the frame, automatically taking photos when motion is detected, and many other useful capabilities.

After clicking OK, a new window will appear. If you haven't purchased the full version of the program, simply click Continue Free Trial to proceed with the trial version.

After that, the camera will start recording the area it's pointed at, and the live feed will appear on your computer screen, as shown in the image.

If you wish to add another camera, just click on the Add Camera button, then select the type of camera from the Camera Model list, and click OK.

Once multiple cameras are connected, they will all be displayed on the screen as adjacent windows or tiles, allowing you to monitor several areas at the same time with ease.

After clicking Add Camera, a new window will appear. From there, you can select the camera you previously connected using the Camera Model list.

As you can see, if you have only connected one camera, it will appear in the list. All you need to do is select it, then click the OK button at the bottom to add it to the monitoring screen.

After clicking OK, a new window will appear. If you haven’t purchased the full version of the program, you can continue using the trial version by clicking the Continue Free Trial button.

Once the program is activated, the camera will start recording the area it’s pointed at, and the live feed will be displayed on your computer screen, as shown in the image.

If you have connected another camera, you can easily add it by clicking Add Camera, then selecting the camera from the Camera Model list and clicking OK. After that, the connected cameras will appear as adjacent windows, allowing you to monitor multiple locations or angles at the same time.
